Constable Schultz of Brantford, Ontario and four individuals were killed when a car smashed into the group on a country road. Police report that an OPP Cruiser was stopped opposite a parked car. While the Constable was speaking to the occupants of the vehicle a third vehicle smashed into the group. A 26 year old man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and dangerous driving.

Constable Shultz had served with the OPP for almost 7 years. He was survived by his wife and three children.
