Constable Chatterson and Constable MacDonald were killed when their cruiser collided with a United States registered transport truck. The truck rounded a turn on the wrong side of the road. It hit the cruiser head on, crushing it and dragged it 200 feet down the road. Constable Chatterson and Constable Macdonald were killed on impact.
Constable Chatterson was with the OPP for 4 years. He was survived by his wife and son.
