Also killed in the crash were RCMP Special Constable Wayne Boskill, 33, of North Battleford, Saskatchewan and James Frederick Murray, 39, who worked for the Regina RCMP, and Arvid Ludquist, 47 of Saskatoon, a federal civil servant. They had been inspecting a new RCMP detachment building at Wollaston.
A nurse at the scene said the men were killed the instant they hit the frozen lake. The cabin of the aircraft was flattened and they were all still strapped in. said a resident of Wollaston Lake.
