Detective Constable Keith Badger, was killed as the result of a 2 vehicle accident. The accident happened on the Charleston Sideroad between Mountain View and Airport Roads, just east of Caledon Village at approximately 8:45 a.m. The officer was on duty in an unmarked car at the time. The driver of the other vehicle, a woman, was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Detective Constable Badger was a 19-year veteran of the OPP and was a member of the Caledon Crime Unit.

He is survived by his wife.
