![]() | Constable Gerry Dault Biographical Info Incident Details Constable Dault was shot and killed at the scene of a domestic dispute. He had been assigned to a police cruiser to assist Constable Edward Terrell with the situation. Constable Terrell was approaching the residence when he was killed by a sniper bullet. A large crowd was gathering and moving closer to the scene. Constable Dault left his cover to move the crowd back and was shot in the head. The suspect was later found dead when police rushed the apartment with teargas. It is not known if he died by his own hand or by police action. The suspects wife and children were able to escape unharmed. Constable Dault had 2 years service at the time of his death. Constable Dault is survived by his wife and 3 children.
