![]() | Constable George Bernard Mullally Biographical Info Incident Details During the evening of 14 November 1973 Constable Mullally was conducting security checks at the residence of the University President on Fitzroy Street in Charlottetown. He was cut off by an oncoming car at Birchwood Street and Longworth Avenue in Charlottetown. As a result he swerved to avoid the car and collided with a lamp post. He was trapped in the vehicle for 2 hours before being freed and died of his injuries the following day. He had 2 years and 1 month service at the time of his death. Constable Mullally is survived by his wife and a daughter.
